Roxily gives couples who live together two ways to remember household tasks: scheduled reminders and a separate manual reminder for a specific Activity. Two roommates can use the same features.

Both are connected to the shared plan. You can see the task and who is responsible, instead of trying to work out which chore a short message refers to.

Schedule a reminder

Add an Activity, choose responsibility and set its schedule and reminder time. For repeating chores, use a recurring schedule and rotation if you want to alternate.

Choose a time when the task can actually be done. Allow notifications for Roxily in your phone’s settings so reminders can reach you.

A pet-feeding reminder before leaving home may be useful; a cleaning reminder during a work meeting may be easy to dismiss. Adjust the timing together.

Send a manual reminder when needed

Open the shared Activity and send a reminder to the responsible person. This is one reminder you choose to send, separate from the scheduled reminder.

Use it for a specific task, such as watering a plant or taking out the bins. It is not a request for the app to keep sending nudges until the other person responds.

Check completion before following up

When the Activity is marked done, the update is visible in the shared plan. Check the list before sending another message. You can send a heart, note or meme to say thanks afterwards.

If reminders are becoming frequent, discuss the timing and responsibility. A notification helps someone remember an agreement; it cannot make the agreement for you.

Read recurring household routines for schedule setup, or sharing a chore list for getting both people started.
