Roxily is a chore app for couples who live together. Use one shared list to decide who handles laundry, shopping, dishes or pet care, then check the plan on either phone. It works on iOS and Android, including when you use different kinds of phones.

It is also suitable for two roommates sharing a home. The starting point is the same: agree on the work together and put that agreement somewhere you can both see.

When a shared chore app helps

You may already have a way to divide chores, but keeping track still falls to one person. They notice the washing basket, ask about dinner and check whether the bins went out. A shared list gives both people a place to check before asking.

Roxily is useful when you want clear responsibility, recurring schedules, reminders and completed work together. You still agree on the split; the app records it.

Start with three chores you already share

  1. Choose the chores together. Start with laundry, dishes and taking out the bins, or the tasks you discuss most often.
  2. Decide what completion means. For laundry, agree whether the task includes putting clean clothes away.
  3. Choose the responsible person. Assign the Activity to either of you or both. For recurring work, set rotation if you want to take turns.
  4. Set the timing. Add a schedule and reminder time that fits when the task can actually be done.
  5. Mark it done. The other person can see the update and send a heart, message or meme to say thanks.

Adjust the split after a week

Look at completed work in Journey and talk about how the week felt. Counts are a reference, not a complete measure of effort: cooking dinner and putting out the bins may take different amounts of time.

Change owners or schedules if the original split does not fit. You do not need to add every possible household task on the first day.

What to know before downloading

Both people need access to the same Space to see and update the shared plan. Allow notifications on your phone if you want reminders.

You can start free. Premium adds unlimited Activities and automatic scheduling, and one subscription covers both people in the Space. Check the current plan details in the app.
